Technical Assignment 1 - Alt. Int. Photo

Some of my uploads from the first technical assignment in alternative intermediate photography, an assignment on scanning negatives.

I did the best I could with the thin negatives that I had. (not all were edited)

Project 1: Paradigms

At times we become frustrated with our life situation and can no longer think outside the problems that we have, or see around them. Other times we blind ourselves with substances, or ideologies, eventually we develop a paradigm in our thinking.

Project 2 : Rauschenbach's Boiser (Book Making)

Stop being pretentious it just makes you ostentatious...

Project 3: Installation = Cups

I wanted to create a piece that mimicked the futurist movement. The piece was reminiscent of childhood times, playing with a string and a cup...

Project 4: Ice (Public and Private view of me)

Project 5: 2-D view 3-D time = 1-D, how to see 4-D... with my 40-D

Final Project

Final project used three assignments from learntoloveyourselfmore.com

The first is, take a picture of clothes from an important day or event, or something of the sort. (A)
The second, what to do with my body when I'm dead.
(4)
The third, take a picture of strangers holding hands.
(D)

The idea of this project was inspired by the day that I first had a chance to hang out with, and get to know a friend of mine. I chose that day because it was a good day, and it seemed like there was a connection or understanding instantly.

This is a conceptual based abstraction?

(A)

(4)

(D)

(I realize my stance was rather static in both pictures, which is rather odd...)

(ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this site is annnnnnoooooyyyyyiiiinnnngggg to try and layout pictures with...)

Photomatrons

The idea was to convey some sort of universal closeness showing nebulae, through pictures that I've taken and inserting them in different ways into a night-time picture in a suburban setting.
I think with some better pictures of fireworks, or illuminated smoke, I could probably make this picture better. The street could also use some brightening and the sky could be darker, also the HDR effect could have been more drastic with a different program.:

As I lose my mind, I wonder, how are clouds made?
Apparently in the cloud factory.
(Industrial art is rather frightening...)

I once took a picture when I was in a forest fire.

I also encountered a woodland fairy with French subtitles.

Treesa, rêvasse des arbres

Treesa, admira y protege los árboles.

Treesa, pince les arbres.

Treesa cosquillea los árboles.

Treesa bailes lujosamente con los árboles.

Fin.

Double Take

Project idea was to edit a picture subtly enough to make it seem impossibly believable.
After learning that I did not have to edit 40 pictures, this is what I produced:

Good:

Bad:

Ugly:
